Policies

Unless noted below, most products can be returned directly to PC Registers.com within 15 days from the date of invoice if all of the following requirements are met. Items returned must first be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. RMA numbers are valid for 15 days only. Please allow 2-4 weeks to process refunds and credit your account. Our Return Policy for software is consistent with the manufacturer’s license agreement. For certain items all sales are final and returns are not available, see below for more information.

Products can only be exchanged for other products on the site, which must be purchased prior to authorizing the return, but only within 15 days of purchase. In order for the return to be accepted, all products must 1) be returned in their original packaging, 2) include all manuals, cables, warranty cards, etc., 3) be clean, without scratches and factory sealed. All products must be returned double boxed, with no markings or writing on the original box. If a product shows signs that the entire product and packaging was removed from its original box, a refund may be denied resulting in shipment of the product back to the customer. Freight charges are not refundable. Customer is responsible for shipping costs on returned items. If the returned item meets all the above requirements, it will be accepted and a restocking fee will be applied depending on the sale value of the returned items.

The following are non returnable:

  • Software
  • System Pre-Installation and Configuration
  • On-Site Installation
  • Remote Training
  • Custom Card Printing
  • Employee Access Cards
  • Menu Creation

Service Policy
On-Site Installation and Remote Training require the client to be on-site at the pre-scheduled time. Notice must be given 48 hours prior to the reschedule services. If the client is not on site during the scheduled time, a $150 rescheduling fee will be charged.
General Inventory Restocking Fees:

  1. 15% of purchase price (minimum $20) if a product(s) is purchased as a replacement
  2. 25% of purchase price (minimum $20) if no replacement products are purchased
  3. *on orders over $2500, a restocking fee of up to 25% may be applied in certain instances

Refusal Fees:

  1. A $25.00 refusal fee will apply to all items that are not accepted by customer upon delivery.

Freight charges:Freight charges for all returns are not refundable. Customer is responsible for shipping costs on returned items.
DOA Policy:If a product arrives Dead On Arrival (DOA), contact us immediately. Most products (excluding software and consumables) can be returned if DOA within 15 days of invoice. Products can only be exchanged for another product. Customer is responsible for shipping costs on returned items unless noted otherwise by PC Registers.com. If a product is DOA, these steps must be followed to ensure expedient approval:

  1. Contact PCRegisters.com to test and determine the fault of said product.
  2. Await RMA Authorization, including email notification

If these steps are not followed fully, the RMA will not be accepted and the product will be shipped back.

Back Ordered ItemsBack ordered items are set to ship as soon as they become available. You will be contacted by email letting you know if any items are backordered. Back ordered items can be exchanged for an in stock item or canceled for a full refund. Please contact sales@pcregisters.com for additional help.
